Forward Observations Group (FOG) is a military lifestyle brand and organization founded by former U.S. Army infantryman Derrick Bales. The company sells tactical gear, medical equipment, and branded accessories, and operates popular military lifestyle channels on Instagram and YouTube.

FOG has traveled to Ukraine, Iraq, and Syria to build connections with local fighters and to document events related to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the Syrian Civil War through photography and video.

FOG has also been involved in sourcing and delivering medical supplies, equipment, and financial support for Ukrainian fighters and foreign volunteers.

In addition, FOG has uploaded videos to its YouTube channel showing prospective members using FPV (first-person view) drones and assembling payloads that could potentially be used in the conflict.
